About & FAQ

  • Washed eggs are fresh for up to 2 months in the refrigerator.

  • Absolutely! But make sure to wait a few extra days since they are not aged like eggs at the grocery store.

  • The hens are given supplimental grains and herbs such as millet, oats, alfalfa, lavender and capsicum.
They then make up the majority of their diets by foraging around the property for tasty tidbits such as grass, roots, berries and even little critters.

  • Like us, the hens value quality over quantity. Hens do not lay eggs every day and there may be many reasons why she doesn’t. But be assured no matter the color, all eggs are equally as tasty inside.

  • Don’t panic! This is a naturally occurance in farm fresh chicken eggs and just means the hen has a healthy oviduct. You can leave it or simply scoop it out as it is safe to consume.
